Damien: The Antichrist All Grown Up

Remember that creepy kid from The Omenwho turned out to be the Antichrist? Well, on A&E’s 2016 series Damien, he’s all grown up, and—spoiler alert!—his favorite number is still 666. Inspired by the 1976 horror classic, this new thriller from executive producer Glen Mazzara (former showrunner of The Walking Dead) imagines what would happen if Satan’s servant was living anonymously among us. The twist: Even he doesn’t know what he really is…yet. “There’s been this darkness that has followed him around,” explains the guy playing the little devil himself, Bradley James. “But he’s unaware of the specifics.”
That will all begin to change when a powerful and mysterious woman, Ann Rutledge (Barbara Hershey), arrives on the scene. “Numerous people start popping up who either want to kill Damien or help him fulfill his destiny—and Ann is very much one of his supporters,” says James. The British import, who’s appeared on The CW’s iZombie and BBC/Syfy’s Merlin, says he is keeping his fingers crossed for an equally ardent cheering section at Comic-Con: “We could turn up to an empty hall where I end up chatting to Glen’s mum.” Oh, like hell.

May 12, 2015 - Bradley James (from Merlin) Interview on iZombie andDamien

What would happen if Bradley James' 'iZombie' character ate his 'Damien' Antichrist's brains?

Bradley James is having his American-TV-By-Way-Of-Canada Moment.
You can't say that the British actor is poised on the brink of a breakout, because he spent five seasons as Prince-the-King Arthur on NBC and then Syfy's "Merlin," but this is a different sort of breakout that James is nearing.
On The CW's "iZombie," James has been turning heads as Lowell, a still-mostly-potential love interest for Rose McIver's Liv. Like Liv, Lowell is an undead brain-eater, a character introduced only as a one-off but extended throughout the show's spring run. While "iZombie" still has us suspecting that Rob Buckley's Major is Liv's long-term love, Lowell has been offering ample and increased complication.

March 9, 2015 - Bradley James from Merlin stars in new Tv series Damien

It has been almost nine years since 6.6.2006 when The Omen, a remake from the 1976 movie that tells about young anti – Christ, was released in US theaters.

Now the young Damien Thorn, has grown and is ready to return in the new series Damien but this time will arrive on the small screen in the guise of Londoner Bradley James, better known around the world as the young Arthur in  the hit tv series Merlin and in few days also on tv in the new iZombie series.

The cast,  which includes also Omid Abtahi(Argo), Megalyn Echikunwoke (Die Hard, 20910) and crew have reached from few days Toronto (or as Bradley James wrote on his twitter account the iced planet from Star Wars) where the shooting will take place.

The Fox series is written by Glen Mazzara(Walking Dead, Criminal Minds, The Shield) and directed by Shekhar Kapur (Elizabeth, Elizabeth: The Golden Age, The Four Feathers) who apparently, according to what Bradley James thinks, has an annoying frying pan to use on the Sunday early morning.

For now the new TV series includes six episodes and a few days ago, it was announced that the first of them will be The Beast Rises.

We will keep you update and we wish to the cast and crew good luck, hoping the “heat” packed by Omid Abtahi from California may be with them in this project.

“When the Jews return to Zion, and a comet fills the sky, and the holy Roman Empire rises, then you and I must die. From the eternal sea he rises, creating armies on either shore, turning man against his brother, until man exists no more”
