Richard Wilson has been honoured for his outstanding contribution to television and film at this year's Bafta Scotland awards.
Kirsty Wark was also recognised for her outstanding contribution to broadcasting, while Rockstar North got a special award for Grand Theft Auto V.
BBC Scotland documentary Sins of Our Fathers won the current affairs award.
The line-up of presenters saw Brian Cox and Kelly Macdonald join host Edith Bowman at Glasgow's Radisson Blu Hotel.
Dozens of roles
Richard Wilson, who was born in Greenock, has played dozens of screen roles dating back to Dr Finlay's Casebook in the 1960s.
His portrayal of Eddie Clockerty in Tutti Frutti was followed by 10 years in One Foot in the Grave and more recently Gaius in Merlin.
The BBC's Sins of Our Fathers exposed allegations of historic abuse at a former boarding school run by monks at Forty Augustus Abbey.
STV production Fire in the Night - about the Piper Alpha disaster - was recognised as best single documentary.
George MacKay collected the coveted award for actor/actress film award for his critically acclaimed performance in For Those in Peril.
The movie was the debut film from young Scottish director Paul Wright, which picked up the feature film award.
The Fear star Peter Mullan picked up the actor/actress television award and Brian Limond topped the comedy/entertainment programme category for Limmy's Show.
The Cineworld audience award went to gangster film The Wee Man.
Alan de Pellette, acting director Bafta Scotland, said: "The quality and range in this year's British Academy Scotland Awards reflects the sheer breadth of content being created in Scotland across film, television and games.
"The work celebrated is inspiring to all of us working in the screen industries and it's great to see so much talent being recognised tonight. Congratulations to all of our very worthy winners."
