The Musketeers has been confirmed for a second series.
BBC One has announced that the period drama will be back again after proving popular with viewers and becoming the channel's biggest new drama launch since Call The Midwife.
Charlotte Moore, Controller, BBC One, said: "Drama in 2014 has got off to a great start on BBC One and The Musketeers has really brought something fresh and new to the channel. I can't wait to see how things will develop in the next series."
The current 10-part series stars Luke Pasqualino, Tom Burke, Santiago Cabrera and Howard Charles as Alexandre Dumas's musketeers, bodyguards of King Louis XIII who fight for justice on the streets of 17th-century Paris.
Peter Capaldi also stars as Cardinal Richelieu and the first series' guest stars will include Ashley Walters, Amy Nuttall, Annabelle Wallis, Vinnie Jones and Sean Pertwee.
Just three episodes of the first series have aired so far, leaving seven more to come on Sunday evenings.
