Macken confirms role in film starring Dormer
Irish actor Eoin Macken has confirmed that he will be playing a role in The Forest, the upcoming thriller film starring Natalie Dormer of Game of Thrones fame.
Speaking on The Nicky Byrne Show with Jenny Greene on RTÉ 2fm, the star of US medical drama The Night Shift didn't offer any details other than saying that he is due to travel to Serbia in two weeks to film the project.
Macken also confirmed that the paperback edition of his novel, Kingdom of Scars, released in October 2014, will be released tomorrow (June 4), joking that he plans on going "into the shop and I'm going to buy it and hope that somebody notices me".
The Forest is set in the Aokigahara Forest in Japan, an infamous spot for suicides, and is scheduled for release in the United States on January 8, 2016.
The Night Shift continues on Thursday on RTÉ 2.
