Richard Wilson will bring One Foot in the Grave's Victor Meldrew back to life as part of a fundraiser at The Crucible.



The actor presents An Evening with Richard Wilson at the world-famous venue on Friday, October 23 to raise money for Sheffield Theatres.
"For one night only, Richard Wilson will delight audiences by reprising his role as Victor Meldrew, performing hilarious scenes from One Foot in the Grave," reads the blurb.
"Join Victor as he battles with the irritations of life, with plenty of laugh-out-loud exasperation along the way."
As well as bringing Victor back, Wilson will talk about his life and work and take part in a Q&A on his TV and theatre.
Fans buying VIP tickets can attend a canapés and drinks reception with the actor after the show.
Tickets are available now and are priced from £20 to £40.
One Foot in the Grave ran for six series and a number of specials from 1990 to 2000.
Victor Meldrew was killed by a dangerous driver in the final episode 'Things Aren't Simple Anymore', though he returned - possibly as a ghost - in a 2001 Comic Relief special.
