Lara Pulver has joined the cast of the upcoming, still-untitled fifth installment in the Underworld series. Also starring Kate Beckinsale, and Theo James, plot and story details for Underworld 5 are being kept under wraps at the moment. It will be directed by Anna Foerster from a script written by Cory Goodman. Lakeshore Entertainment’s Tom Rosenberg, Gary Lucchesi, and Richard S. Wright are producing, as is David Kern along with Len Wiseman. Production is set to begin later this year in Prague. The film is set for release in 2016.
Best known stateside for her portrayal of Irene Adler in the second season of the BBC series Sherlock, Pulver is currently performing onstage in the critically acclaimed revival of Gypsy at the Savoy Theatre in London, opposite Imelda Staunton. She’ll soon be seen in the North American release of MI-5, which hits theaters in December, and also appeared in A Patch of Fog. Her other credits include Edge of TomorrowDa Vinci’s Demons, the BBC miniseries Fleming opposite Dominic Cooper, and True Blood. She’s repped by by Management 360, Paradigm and UK’s Independent Talent Group.
